SEEDA Receives Update on Children's Center

The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority held their quarterly meeting Tuesday. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the details.

While action could not be taken on any of the agenda items due to the lack of a quorum, the board did receive an update on the First Light Children's Center, located at 366 Brundage Street in Sheridan. First Light moved into the SEEDA owned building in 2012 under a lease agreement. SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs said that he and Board President John Heath recently met with officials from First Light.

Briggs stated that they plan to take a look at making some changes to the operations agreement in the near future.

Briggs said that a sub-set of SEEDA Board members will meet with representatives from First Light on a monthly basis to work on amending the operations agreement.
