SEEDA Discusses Transfer Of High Tech Park, WYO Project

The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority, or SEEDA, is considering the possibility of transferring ownership of the high tech park that is currently under development in Sheridan. This joint powers board—comprised of members from the City of Sheridan, Sheridan College and Sheridan's School District—discussed this proposal at their board meeting last night.

Robert Briggs, Planning Director for the City of Sheridan, explains:

Another potential project that is a little more tentative and further down the pipeline is the WYO Theater Performing Arts Project. Robert says this project also presents a lot of “wonderful educational opportunities for the young people in the community ”:

SEEDA is a joint powers board that pursues and is a conduit for local economic and educational development and funding.

The next SEEDA meeting is tentatively scheduled for September 28th.
