The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Joint Powers Board discussed amendments to the lease with First Light Children's Center at their board meeting Tuesday. One of the amendments would waive SEEDA's right of subrogation toward First Light for any event under the insurance policy. SEEDA Chairman Dr. Paul Young.

The board also discussed the maintenance fund for the First Light facility, and the possibility of having it perform more like a endowment than an account that could be tapped at anytime.

Young said that they will continue to work on developing the long term maintenance fund, and that they will discuss the issue in further detail at a board retreat later this year.
