The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Joint Powers Board reviewed and ratified three contracts that have been awarded for the Weatherby project at their regularly scheduled meeting Monday.

The project consists of construction of a 100,000 square foot building in the Sheridan High-Tech Business Park that will be home to Weatherby, Inc. in the future. Northern Wyoming Community College District Director for Facilities Kent Andersen explains the contracts that were ratified.

Anderson said that everything remains under budget and on schedule with the Weatherby project. The timeline for Weatherby to be in the building and begin manufacturing firearms is February of 2019. Also from the meeting, the Board approved the audit report for SEEDA that was conducted by Porter, Muirhead, Cornia and Howard, Certified Public Accountants out of Casper.
