In November of 2011, The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Joint Powers Board approved a lease and operating agreement with First Light Inc. as tenants of the former Hand-in-Hand Building on Brundage Street in Sheridan.

SEEDA took over ownership of the building after the Hand-in-Hand Early Childhood Education Center closed due to financial reasons after one-year of operations. The Joint Powers Board has been recently discussing removing itself from the situation with First Light. SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs.

Briggs said that the item will be one of the main topics of discussion at the Board’s retreat in September.
