A timeline for the building that will be home to Kennon Products, Inc, was discussed by the Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Joint Powers Board Wednesday. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Part of the grant agreement between the SEEDA Joint Powers Board and the Wyoming Business Council for the soon to be built facility in north Sheridan that will be home to Kennon Products, has a requirement for a date of completion for the building. SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs says that the master grant agreement for the approximate 35,000 square foot building that will be located in the High-Tech Park in North Sheridan, calls for a completion date of that building by June 30 of 2021.

Briggs said that the exact size of the building could vary slightly during the design phase.

Briggs said that the plan is to build the facility on four acres of a nine-acre site just west of Vacutech, and that the building will be about two and a half to three times the size of Kennon's existing facilities on North Main Street. The Kennon expansion project is expected to create 40 new jobs and spur an additional $1.1 million in private investment in Sheridan.
