Second Boy Scout Project Approved By City Council

Second Boy Scout Project Approved By City Council

Buffalo Boy Scout Seth Ables came before the city council at their last meeting to ask permission to install his project at the wetlands ponds.

Ables is the second boy scout this year to seek permission for a project that will help them achieve Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable as a Boy Scout.

Ables explains what his project is.

Ables has an engineer overseeing the design and he has checked with local Game Warden Jim Seemans who has given his tentative approval as well.

The estimated cost of building the dock is $950, according to Ables, and he asked the council if they could help with funding the dock, which he will then install at the wetlands ponds.

The council voted in favor or his preliminary plans, suggesting he have the engineer approve a final design with estimated costs and bring it back before the council for funding.
