SCSD#2 Elementary Principals Put Emphasis on Improvement

The Sheridan County School District #2 board of trustees heard from the principals of five elementary schools to assess how the district is striving toward educational improvement. Scott Stults, director of elementary education, said the annual report from the schools' leaders is intended to generate new ideas about how to enhance learning.

Stults noted though the mission of each principal is essentially the same, there are several different ways to get the message across.

Stults said the dedication of the district's staff is a main contributor to the schools' consistently high ratings and test scores.
