SCSD#1 Gets Proactive Against Bullying

With the school year starting up, there's no question students across the nation have butterflies, and for some, those first-day jitters might not be the good kind.

With national attention being directed toward the issue of bullying in schools, Sheridan County School District #1 is taking proactive steps to keep the problem out of the school hallways. Superintendent, Marty Kobza.

In addition to positive intervention initiatives at the elementary levels district-wide, the high school's anti-bullying campaign, named “Rachel's Challenge,” was created in remembrance of one of the shooting victims in Columbine, Colorado.
