The City of Sheridan Planning Commission met Monday night to consider the Scenic Character Plan. Developing the plan has been a process that has been about a year in the making and it builds upon work started in the City County Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan.
City Planning Director Robert Briggs says that phase one of the plan was hearing from the public.
Briggs stated that phase two of the plan is implementing five key recommendations that came out of development of the plan.
The City Planning Commission recommended approval of the plan; that recommendation will now go before the Sheridan City Council at their second meeting in December.
