Sheridan College will host the 17th annual Wyoming Academic Challenge today. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.

Over 100 high school students from around Wyoming will converge on Sheridan College today to pit wits against each other during the Wyoming Academic Challenge. The event is one of six competitions held throughout the state. The top 18 teams, which include 12 large schools and six small schools, will qualify for the state tournament held in April in Riverton.

Sheridan College scholarships are awarded to the top team. The Wyoming Academic Challenge will take place today in the Whitney Building at Sheridan College from noon to 5:30 pm.
