Members of Sheridan's Rotary Club presented a check to the Wyoming Girls' School Friday for purchase of 10 fly-fishing rods and other equipment for a course that will be taught at the school starting the end of this month.

Girls' School Principal Dixie Cooper explained.

Bob Krumm said his involvement in fact started about a year ago.

Cooper said the Rotary Club, realizing that the equipment available to the Girls' School students, wasn't adequate, and decided to donate 10 complete sets of fly-fishing equipment. The class will be lead by Krumm for the Little Big Horn Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Cooper anticipated there might be 10 or 12 girls in the course from a couple of the school's science classes.

She said Krumm and the others will come to the school once a week for the next nine weeks. Krumm said the course will include both fly-tying and fly-fishing.
