Road Conditions Worsening In Buffalo Area

Interstate 90 westbound near the Rock Creek exit has been reopened. An accident Thursday morning caused the closure that lasted for most of the day.

Ronda Holwell has informed Sheridan Media that westbound I-90 near the Rock Creek exit will remain closed until approximately 3-3:30 p.m. due to this morning's accident. Holwell says the reason for pushing back the opening is due to the difficulty of picking up the crash-related debris.

The crash involved two semi trucks and four vehicles on I-90 between Buffalo and Exit 44. Holwell said that several of those involved in the accident had to be transported to the hospital, however, she's been told that none of the injuries were very serious or life threatening.
