The Wyoming Legislature's Joint Interim Revenue Committee has been tasked with developing a plan for the State to generate more revenue to make up for the lack of revenue caused by the downturn in the mineral extraction industry.

Committee Chairman and State Representative for House District 40, Mike Madden, says that there are a lot of options that are being looked at to bring in more money.

Madden said that the Revenue Committee is tentatively scheduled to meet November, 6 and 7, and December, 4 and 5. The 2018 budget session will convene in Cheyenne Monday, February 12.
