Relay for Life Fundraiser Kicks Off in Sheridan

On Tuesday night, the American Cancer Society held a fundraiser for its Relay for Life program at the Black Tooth Brewing Company in Sheridan. Nicole Marron, community relationship manager with the American Cancer Society, explains.

At a fundraising event last year, Marron says about 20 people signed up - but on Tuesday, just a few minutes into the fundraiser she says more than double that had already signed up.

Mary Donohue, a team development chair, says they have one plain and simple goal.

And Marron says they're well on their way. Over the years, she says Relay for Life has saved an increasing number of lives.

Again, this year's Sheridan Relay for Life will be held on June 21st and 22nd in Kendrick Park. To sign up for the walk, visit http://main.acsevents.org/site/T....
