After being held in Sheridan the past two years, the Wyoming Senior Olympics changes location for the next couple of years to Laramie.

Senior Olympics Spokesperson Roger Wilson said the Wyoming Senior Olympics began in 1986, joining several states in hosting annual Senior Olympics or Senior Games. Wilson talks about the eligibility requirements for participants.

Wilson said that those who participated last year should either have received, or will receive a registration packet in the mail. He said that if you didn’t participate last year, you can register for this year’s games online at the Wyoming Senior Olympics website. We’ve provided a link to the site with this story online at sheridanmedia.com. The deadline to register is July 19. The Senior Olympics will take place August 2 through the 5 in Laramie.
