Sheridan County’s Red Grade Road is placed under a seasonal closure every winter by the Sheridan County Commissioners. According to Commissioner Bob Rolston explains why they close the path annually.

Regardless of conditions, Rolston said they will open and close the road on those dates to remain consistent. Red Grade Road is still open to motorized vehicles that do not have wheels.
