Recreation District to Hold Easter Egg Hunt Saturday

The Sheridan Recreation District's annual Easter Egg hunt for children will start at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sheridan High School.

Executive Director Richard Wright said the event is for children ages 0 to 8.

He said a second Easter Egg hunt for dogs has been canceled due to bad weather.

Wright said people bringing children to the egg hunt should arrive 10 or 15 minutes early, because the event will start promptly at 10 and it lasts no more than two or three minutes.

Primary sponsors of the Easter egg hunt are the Sheridan Recreation District and Sheridan Media, and Wright said one of the local church groups helps distribute the eggs for the event.
