Record Numbers Reported For June In Yellowstone

Visitation numbers at Yellowstone Park continue to rise. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.

Officials with Yellowstone National Park report that they had a record number of visitors in the month of June and for the first six months of the year.

Park Spokesman Al Nash said that nearly 644,000 people visited Yellowstone in June, and that for the first six months of the year, just over one million have visited the park.

July is typically the park's peak visitation month, followed by August, June, September and May.
