A reception for artists, museum members and guests launched the 2016 Small Works art show at The Brinton Museum in Big Horn Saturday night.

The show opens to the public Sunday and will continue through Oct. 16. Museum staff member Lacasa Michelena, one of the show's organizers, explained what the show is about.

All of the more than 300 pieces of art are for sale, and prices are listed along with the name of the work, the media used and the name of the artist. The artists are from 26 states, and their work covers a variety of themes. The show, which will be open during museum hours, is in the third-floor gallery.
