Rec District Eyes New Equipment

The Sheridan Recreation District board has agreed it's time to start shopping for a new sport utility vehicle.

Richard Wright, executive director, explains they need something bigger than a 4-wheeler and smaller than a Jeep to take care of the district's seasonal responsibilities.

The board estimated the new vehicle would be around $25,000 when equipped with necessary attachments. The district already has that money available, thanks to rollover funds from the previous fiscal year.

The board also elected Don Julian as president of the board, Alex Lee as vice president and treasurer, and Kim Anderson as secretary.
