Members of the recently formed Real Resistance Wyoming organization carried signs in protest of a proposed education
bill in downtown Sheridan Saturday afternoon.

Josh Hanson, spokesman for the group, said the organization is opposed to House Bill 150, which would provide money for parents to enroll their children in private schools.

He said the bill ends up putting profits over learning. Hanson said the goal Saturday was to catch some foot traffic and encourage people to contact their legislators in an effort to kill House Bill 150. Hanson said the bill is currently still in committee.

Hanson said Real Resistance Wyoming has grown from three people to 25 in about three weeks of existence. The organization has a page on Facebook.
