Range Management, Both Art, Science

Tuesday night in the Whitney Presentation Hall at Sheridan College, was the 7th in the Natural Resources Lecture Series called “Improving Range Management Through Science” with guest speaker John Walker.

Walker, the director and professor of Agrilife Research at Texas A & M University said range management involves change.

Sheridan College Director of Agriculture, Keith Klement said range management is both art and science.

Art and science are essential for land stewardship, but good old fashioned intuition is also needful.

The lecture series was a general session free to the public which coordinates with this year's annual meeting of Wyoming's Society for Range Management which is being held in Sheridan this year.
