Ranchester Council Tables Bid Award For Track Loader

The Ranchester Town Council elected to table awarding the bid for a track loader at their meeting Tuesday night. Councilman Dennis Dunn called for the motion to table the item and he explains that he'd like more information on the equipment before making a decision.

Dunn plans to meet with the Town Foreman this week to go over the details of why the piece of equipment is needed. Ranchester Mayor Cliff Clevenger says the Town has been pondering the purchase for some time.

Clevenger said that the track loader will also be a huge benefit to the Town's snow removal system as it will come with a snow blower attachment. The Council will most likely award the bid at their next meeting Tuesday February 2nd.

I cant believe that town

I cant believe that town would spend money on stuff it doesnt need and not use resources correctly. How bout they use the money the have for things like road work or how bout they research buisnesses that could be brought in to make that town more money?

Track Loader???

Ranchester has to be the most misdirected town i've ever seen. Why would they want something on tracks, why not a rubber tire loader??? Oh, by the way how is all that junked paving equipment working for Ranchester???
