The Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan will be holding their annual Rabies Clinic Monday June 7th through Saturday June 12th at the Kendrick Park bandshell. With the rise in rabid skunks in our area, Shelter Director Cel Hope says this is a great opportunity to get your
animals vaccinated.

City dog licenses will also be available at the Rabies Clinic; however there is something that pet owners should keep in mind before heading to Kendrick Park.

Hope said that the rabies vaccination is $9 per shot and that the City license fees range from $10 to $15 depending on if the dog has been spayed or neutered. Hours of the Rabies Clinic will be 8 am to 1 pm next Monday through Saturday at the Kendrick Park bandshell. It should be noted that on Saturday, the clinic will be by the monument in the park, as the bandshell will be in use.
