"Get Out & Shop" Seeks Vendors

The 3rd Annual "Get Out & Shop" fundraiser, sponsored by the Chapter BI Sisterhood of PEO in Sheridan, is coming up Saturday, March 26th at the Sheridan High School Gymnasium. PEO stands for Philanthropic Education Organization; Sheridan has five chapters and Buffalo has one. Sharie Prout is the newly elected President of the BI Chapter, and she explains what PEO does.

Each chapter is responsible for raising funds for various women's education projects, and the "Get Out & Shop" has proven to be an effective fundraiser for Chapter BI, says event committee chair, Nadine Gale.

Gale says they are still looking for local and home-based businesses to rent a vendor booth. Cost for a 10 x 10 space is $55. There is no charge for shoppers, and Gale says that they hope to have door prizes and raffles, as well. They're hoping to secure a food vendor, too.

If you would like to rent a vendor booth for "Get Out & Shop," call Nadine at 752-2134.
