Qdoba Food For Funds Nights Support Local Organizations

The commitment of Qdoba Mexican Eats to the Sheridan community continues into the new year. On January 8, JennaRae Akers, Director of Marketing, presented a $500 check to the Sheridan Community Land Trust-- a contribution from a Food For Funds night held in December. According to Akers, Food For Funds was conceived as a way to give back to nonprofit organizations whose missions positively impact a large number of people in the Sheridan area.

On Food For Funds nights, 25% of the dollar amount of guests’ orders will be donated to a featured organization when the guests mention the organization at the register, according to a release. Over the span of seven months, the Food For Funds program has raised over $7,000 for local community organizations.

Qdoba’s Food For Funds program continues on January 14, where Meadowlark Elementary will be the featured community organization, followed by Highland Park Elementary on February 25.
