Serving cookies and milk on a balmy Saturday afternoon could be an enticement to take a nap, but not so, when perennial expert, Karen Nicolarsen took the floor at Landon's Greenhouse.

Educational and informative, pajama-clad Nicolarsen explained to the twenty or so women on hand, how to take care of and plant those fall perennials for the promise of next year's blooms.

She explains that gardening in the fall does have its benefits.

Nicolarsen says that springtime isn't the only time for planting.

Nicolarsen demonstrated how to divide perennials, how to prepare your perennial beds, and things to do in your garden in the fall. Landon's Autumn Workshops will run through October 15th.
