Public Meeting Set for Update on Goose Creek Watershed Level I Study

A public meeting is set for Monday where an update will be provided on the Goose Creek Watershed Level I Study. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The meeting is being hosted by officials with the Wyoming Water Development Commission, the Sheridan County Conservation District, and Entech, Inc. Professional Engineers of Sheridan. The study is being performed for the WWDC and SCCD by EnTech. The meeting will provide another update on the current work being performed, including changes made to the proposed projects listing since the previous update meeting.

Other topics to be discussed at the meeting include possible alternative means of utilizing Lake DeSmet water within the Goose Creek watershed, and procedures to be employed for possible public entity formation in order to access WWDC program funding opportunities. The meeting will take place at 5 pm in the Inner Circle at the Sheridan Fulmer Library.
