Public Input Sought For Proposed Hunting Seasons

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking public input at three separate meetings this week on the proposed upcoming big game hunting seasons in Northeast Wyoming.

Three meetings and a final open house are scheduled this week and early next week throughout the region, beginning this evening in Sheridan at the Game and Fish Regional Office from 4 to 7 o'clock.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25th in Buffalo at the Johnson County Library from 4 to 7.
And the final meeting will be Wednesday, March 26th at the Campbell County Public Library in Gillette again from 4 to 7 o'clock.

The final Public Information Gathering Meeting will be held Monday, March 31st at the Sheridan College Whitney Building Presentation Hall beginning at 7pm.

Game and Fish Information Specialist Bud Stewart gives us more details on what the meetings are for.

Verbal and written public comment will be taken at the meetings or written comments can be submitted to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Attn: Regulations, 3030 Energy Lane, Casper, WY 82604.
Written comments must be received by 5pm Tuesday. April 1st.

The final 2014 hunting seasons will be set at the Game and Fish meetings in late April from information from these open houses and others.
