In a continuing effort to keep the streets drivable and safe throughout the winter, the City of Sheridan uses a system where streets are prioritized when it comes to snow removal.

City Interim Public Works Director Lane Thompson says that there are a couple of different things that factor into how they prioritize the snow removal routes.

Thompson said that as part of the City’s snow removal plan that was implemented last year, crews do not clear the streets from curb-to-curb in residential areas due to time and funding constraints.
