Poll Question of the Week

Posted in

"Don't Ask, Don't Tell," a U.S. policy that banned military personnel from discrimination against or harassing closet gays and also barred openly homosexual persons from military service, was repealed a year ago.

The act also banned gays from disclosing their sexual orientation or sharing about their relationships.

One recent study found that there was "no overall negative impact on military readiness, unit cohesion, recruitment, retention, or morale."

This week's Bank of Sheridan/Sheridan Media poll question is: Do you think the repeal of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" was a mistake or a good decision?

Let us know what you think. To voice your opinion, log on to sheridanmedia.com and have your vote counted in our weekly poll. Then, be sure to tune in to the Jackson Electric Open Line Friday at 9 a.m. on Newstalk, 930, KROE.
