Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder wanted to remind those wishing to hunt on city-owned lands to stop by the Criminal Justice Center to fill out paperwork beforehand.

The archery hunts are allowed within city-owned lands in the Buffalo Greenbelt or at the Buffalo Golf Course with the completed paperwork on file.
Paperwork is also available at Buffalo's City Hall.

Chief Carder also reported just over 1,400 incidents within the city in August, including 2 high-speed chases.

Dispatch handled roughly 4,200 total calls during the month.

Finally, he reminded the public there is no overnight camping at Buffalo's Washington Park.
