Pokes Look To Rebound Against The Aztecs Tonight

LARAMIE, (AP) - Wyoming faces another of the Mountain West Conference's leading passing offenses when it plays San Diego State tonight. The Pokes were torched by BYU and its quarterback Max Hall last weekend 52-0.

BYU leads the conference in passing, but San Diego State is second in the category. Sophomore Aztecs quarterback Ryan Lindley had thrown a league-best 23 touchdowns, but he also has thrown the second-most interceptions with 12.

UW defensive back Marcell Gipson says the Cowboy secondary feels embarrassed by its performance against BYU and must come out focused and play a lot better. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Qualcomm Stadium. We will have the action live for you on AM 1410 KWYO beginning with the pregame at 7 o'clock.
