Plenty Going On at the Fulmer Library

The 28th annual Friends of the Library Auction is a week from this Saturday at the Fulmer Library in Sheridan. As usual there will be many interesting items up for auction and a lot of good food throughout the evening. Alice Roach with the Friends of the Library explains a few of the items that will be auctioned off next Saturday night.

Tickets for the auction can be purchased at the door Saturday, November 13th at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $20 for individuals, $35 for families, and $15 for seniors. Other happenings at the Fulmer Library include the weekly computer classes that began in September.

That's Library Information Services Manager Anita Weisheit. The next class is Thursday, November 4, and it is titled Introduction to Facebook. There will not be a class on November 11, as the Library will be closed in observance of Veterans Day. The workshops are free of charge but space is limited. You can register by calling the library at 674-8585 extension 3. The Library will also be hosting a farewell and retirement party for longtime Director Cathy Butler this Friday from 5:15 to 7 pm.
