Investigators Looking for Info Regarding Cause of Sheep Creek Fire

The Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement continue to investigate the exact cause of the Sheep Creek Fire burning in the Bighorn Mountains west of Dayton. The official term that’s been given to the fire is that it is an “undetermined human caused” fire.

Hiker From Montana Found Dead in Yellowstone

An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of death of a hiker found in the vicinity of the Elephant Back Loop Trail in the Lake Village area of Yellowstone National Park.

Story Home Tour Deemed a Success

From quaint cabins to modern mansions, over 150 people toured the five homes as part of the Story Home Tour last Saturday. A fundraiser for the Story Woman’s Club, tickets could be purchased for $10 which included a map for the self-guided tour to the five homes.

Thirty-six Youth Head for State Fair

Thirty-six Sheridan County 4-H and FFA youth will compete in the Wyoming State Fair Aug. 8-15 in Douglas.
