The Cloud Peak Pickleball Club has completed the renovations and upgrades to the city-owned old tennis courts near the Buffalo Children's Center, to make them useable for “pickleball,” a game similar to tennis, but more suitable for older adults.

Representatives of the club, including Tim Kirven, came before the Buffalo City Council at their last meeting to upgrade them on the progress of the renovations, thank them for allowing the use of the courts, and to invite the public to use the courts when the club isn't using them.

Kirven said when the club is playing and using the courts in an “organized fashion,” they will ask that players become members of the club, or pay a nominal fee if they so choose.
Anyone would be able to use the courts free at any other time.

Mayor Mike Johnson thanked the club for their efforts.

The courts are located next to the Buffalo Children's Center on North DeSmet Avenue below the YMCA.
