Phillips Wins State History Day Honors

Judges have selected winners in the recent Wyoming History Day competition held at the University of Wyoming.

Among the winners was Ashley Phillips of Sheridan who placed third in the junior individual website division, for her, “Women: Behind the Scenes, Heroes in World War II.

Participants in the junior division were all from grades sixth through eighth, from across the state. Wyoming History Day is supported by the Wyoming State Historical Society, the Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources and the American Heritage Center at the University of Wyoming.
