The band shell at Kendrick Park had quite a collection Saturday. There were dogs, guinea pigs, a pony and even a goat all decked out in their Halloween finery.

It was the annual Pet-O-Ween Contest, and well over 100 pets with their owners showed up for the event.

Adrian, a chunky English bulldog dressed up as a bumblebee was there with her owner Dawn Jayne.

6-year-old Cooper Garber was there with his dog Holly and his mom, Carol, and tells us why Holly was dressed up as a princess.

It was all done in a spirit of fun and all for a very good cause, a fundraiser for the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter. Director Cel Hope says everyone likes to get dressed up once in awhile.

Prizes were awarded for the funniest, most creative, and scariest costumes.
