February is National Pet Dental Health Awareness Month and similar to humans, oral hygiene plays a big role in our pets overall health. Gage says that the number one thing pet owners can do at home is to brush those teeth often.

Gage said that there are dental chews and treats that you can give your pets to help prevent tarter buildup and that water additives are also an option.
