People were already waiting when the Untapped Homebrew Festival got underway Saturday afternoon in downtown Sheridan.

Patrick Suchor, who's the treasurer of the Bighorn Homebrew Club, said about 80 tickets were pre-sold in the last few weeks leading up to the event.

Suchor said the festival is a partnership between the WYO Theater and the homebrew club, and the event is a fundraiser for both organizations.

He said the homebrew club was founded in 2012 with about five homebrewers, and membership has now grown to 25 to 30 brewers. He said the members all brew beer at different skill levels, but enjoy the brewing and they all enjoy sampling each others' creations.
