More than 100 hundred people showed up Wednesday evening for the artists' reception for the “People of the Buffalo” Art Show and Sale held at the Sagebrush Art Center in Sheridan. Edre Maier explains the idea behind the show.

Twenty one-year old Ben Pease grew up on the Crow Reservation and had several paintings on display.

Much of Ben's work keeps with the tradition of the Crow Indians.

Polly Real Bird Yarlott had her bead work on display at the show which is located in the old Train Depot on 5th Street. It's a heritage that's been passed down.

Friday and Saturday in the parking lot of the art center, an American Indian Market will be held which will have several different booths with American Indian food and crafts. The “People of the Buffalo” Art Show will be on display through July 27th.
