The Sheridan City Council recently awarded the bid for the City’s Pavement Maintenance Project to MDS Technologies, Inc. of Park Ridge, Illinois, in the amount of $47,800.

City Public Works Director Lane Thompson said the purpose of the Pavement Maintenance Service is to perform pavement condition assessments throughout the City.

The bid from MDS Technologies was the lowest of the four proposals that the City received for the project. Thompson said that the project will be fully funded with allocations from the optional one-cent sales tax fund and public benefit fund.
