Wyoming State Representative John Patton and Sheridan Attorney Rex Arney had close ties with the late former U.S. and Wyoming Senator Malcolm Wallop, who passed away Wednesday.

Arney worked with Wallop when he was a Wyoming Representative and Wallop was a State Senator prior to Arney succeeding Wallop as State Senator.

Arney explains what he'll remember most about the late senator.

Representative Patton reflects on the time he spent with Wallop in the legislature, but more importantly the time they spent as friends.

Services for Wallop will be held at 10 am Thursday, September 22 at St. Peters Episcopal Church in Sheridan with Bishop Vernon Strickland officiating. Malcom will be lying in State at the Capitol Building in Cheyenne from 2 pm Tuesday to 11 am Wednesday, according to Kane Funeral Home.
