Part 4 of Gatchell/BLM Program Today at Library

Frightfully Fun Fall Outreach, Part 4, will be this evening at the Johnson County Library in Buffalo.

This is the last in a 4-part series of programs with a spooky/Halloween theme for kids to learn more about some interesting, although creepy things.

The previous subjects were on bat echolocation, fossils and formations, and owls. Tonight's theme is Halloween history, with kids able to do crafts while learning about the history and traditions surrounding Halloween.

The program has been put on cooperatively between the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum and the Bureau of Land Management.

It is free and kids are encouraged to wear their costumes to the program.

It begins at 6 pm and will be in the library's Community Room.
