City of Sheridan Utilities Director Resigns

The City of Sheridan will most likely begin their search for a new Utilities Director now that Dan Miller has resigned.

The City of Sheridan has accepted the resignation of Utilities Director Dan Miller. Miller resigned this week, and his resignation is effective immediately. Human Resources Director Heather Doke.

Sheridan College Receives Grant for Nursing Simulation Center

Officials with Sheridan College received notification recently that they were awarded a $298,950 grant from the Department of Health and Human Services – Health Resources and Services Administration. The funds from this grant will provide equipment for the college to expand the simulation training currently available to nursing students and health care providers in the region. 

Preliminary Hearing For SHS Counselor Postponed

Current SHS Counselor and former Campbell County High School Principal Larry Steiger is charged with three felonies for misues of a school district credit card.

A preliminary hearing for 61-year-old Sheridan High School Counselor Larry Steiger was postponed in Campbell County Circuit Court this week. Lawyers for Steiger and Trudy Garcia asked that the hearing be continued because both had scheduling conflicts.

School Districts Statewide Need Varicella Vaccinations
