A special event is happening next week. Sheridan Media reporter Pat Blair has the details.

The public is invited to an open house at Sheridan Memorial Hospital's new Outpatient Center – formerly known as the Medical Arts Complex.

The event will be next Tuesday from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and Alan Dubberley, who's the hospital's marketing manager, said the hope is that everyone will come out and take a look at the new facility to see what the hospital has to offer.

Dubberley said the new Outpatient Center will house all of the hospital's outpatient services conveniently under one roof.

Dubberley said a complete list of all of the departments and clinics in the Outpatient Center will be available at the open house.

He said there are some other name changes involved. For example, Big Horn Mountain Medicine – which occupies much of the first floor of the new addition – is now called Internal Medicine. He said in fact, there are name changes for multiple clinics.

Also changed is the location of some of the clinics. For example, the women's clinic is still on the second floor but in a different suite than it has occupied.

Dubberley said all of those changes are noted on the hospital's website and will be available in handouts during the open house.
