Open House for New Forest Supervisor

Open House for New Forest Supervisor

The Bighorn National Forest will be hosting three open houses in April to give the public a chance to meet new Forest Supervisor Andrew K. Johnson.

According to a news release from the Forest Service, the meetings will also provide the public an opportunity learn about current work on the forest in addition to meeting Johnson. Prior to starting as Forest Supervisor in January, Johnson was a District Ranger of the Superior National Forest in Cook, Minnesota.

The first of the three open houses will be April 9, from 4:30 pm to 6 pm at the Medicine Wheel Ranger District Office in Greybull. The second will be April 17, from 4 to 6 pm at the Bighorn National Forest Supervisor’s Office in Sheridan, and the last will be April 19, from 4 to 6 pm at the Powder River Ranger District Office in Buffalo.
