Saturday, hundreds of kids with their families showed up at the Sheridan Fire and Rescue Station for its annual Fire Prevention Week Open House.

Fire truck rides, fire house tours, challenge courses for the kids, food and fun were the hallmarks of the day and this year's theme is “Prevent Cooking Fires.” Fire Marshal Brian Songer...

Over 500 students toured the fire station during week. It's all about teaching them young.
