With flooding occurring in parts of Sheridan and Sheridan County, the public is encouraged to report any flooding they may witness immediately to authorities. Sheridan Police Chief Richard Adriaens.

Adriaens said that if residents have any flood related questions that they'd like answers to, they can call the Sheridan Police Department Dispatch Center at 307-672-2413.

Sheridan County Road 66 has been closed due to the roadway being flooded. Emergency Management officials ask that the public stay out of flooded area so that City and County crews can assist those in need of assistance.

Sheridan County Public Works Director Rod Liesinger has issued a "no unnecessary travel" alert for Barker and Pass Creek Roads. Water has now crossed over the road, and even though the base is still intact, only people who must take these roads should, and should proceed with caution.
